Virtual companion storytelling

Some of the best conversations on Irisda are not conversations at all. They are stories, written a few lines an evening, with a companion holding one half of the pen.

Starting a story

Give a place and a weather: a night train, a wet market square, a house that is too big for its owner. A companion will add a first detail and hand it back to you.

Keeping it going

Return to the same companion and say where you left off. Recurring names and places come back on their own, and the story usually surprises both sides within a week.

Ending well

Stories are allowed to stop. Say that you would like an ending and you will get one, which leaves the next evening free for something entirely different.
