This page explains in plain language what Irisda keeps, why it is kept and what you can ask for.

What is collected

Two kinds of information: the messages you write in a conversation, and ordinary visit information such as the pages opened and the approximate region a request came from.

Why it is kept

Messages exist so a conversation feels continuous rather than starting over each time. Visit information is used in aggregate to understand which pages are read and where something is broken.

How long it stays

Conversation content is kept only as long as it remains useful to the conversation itself. Aggregate visit figures are kept in a form that no longer identifies an individual reader.

What is never wanted

Please do not write passwords, payment details, identity documents or another person private information into a chat. Irisda does not need any of it.

Sharing

Information is not sold. It is shared only with the services required to keep the site running, and only to the extent needed for them to do that work.
